In memory of Eddie…The rescue story that started a rescue.
In 2018, Lisa found Eddie on Petfinder when he was 5 years old. Upon meeting him, she instantly fell in love and adopted him. Although this would be Eddie’s fourth home, she was convinced he kept moving on until he found her. Eddie had mobility issues due to bad knees that surgery was unable to fix, hence his wheels. Lisa and Eddie shared three amazing years together until his passing in 2021. It was not enough time together, but she knew she had given Eddie the best years of his life.
During those years, Eddie gained social media attention and quickly grew a huge following. The little dog who had been given away by three homes touched so many lives and became loved by families from all over the world. Lisa began Eddie’s Ranch, a 501(c)3 non-profit, to help others like Eddie find that kind of love they deserve from the start and know it in their hearts until the end.
All donations go directly to the care of the Eddie’s Crew and the rescues that come to stay.
